Argente Clair
Argente clair is a light-colored Argente rabbit label, usually understood within European silvered-rabbit naming rather than as a broad pet-shop term. Clair means light, and the label is used for rabbits whose pale ground color is overlaid with the silvering that defines the Argente family. It should not be confused with every cream or white rabbit, because the breed identity depends on the silvered coat and the standard used by the local club.
Management is similar to other Argente rabbits, but color assessment takes patience. Youngsters may need time before the adult coat shows whether the silvering is even, too heavy, or too sparse. Breeders should keep notes on age, coat stage, and parentage so selections are not made from a temporary juvenile coat. Owners mainly need a sound, clean rabbit with enough space and a diet that supports steady coat growth.
