Continental Giant White
Continental Giant white is the white class or variant of the Continental Giant, the large European rabbit breed selected for length, bone, and substantial adult size. The white coat separates it visually from colored Continental Giants, and eye color requirements may depend on the registry or local standard. Type remains central: the rabbit should still look like a Continental Giant, not simply a large white domestic rabbit.
White giant rabbits need the same generous space and secure footing as other Continental Giants, with extra attention to coat cleanliness because staining shows quickly. Breeders should select for body, sound feet, calm temperament, and the correct white presentation for their standard. Heat management, safe lifting, and flooring that prevents sore hocks are practical concerns once the rabbit reaches adult weight. Buyers should be realistic about handling and housing; the adult animal requires equipment sized for a true giant breed, including carriers and exercise pens.
