Hulstlander
The Hulstlander is a Dutch breed associated with a pure white coat and blue eyes. It was developed in the Netherlands as a small to medium rabbit with a clean, bright appearance rather than as an albino white rabbit with red eyes. In United Kingdom listings it is often encountered as a rarer fur-section breed, and outside Dutch or British fancy circles the name is much less familiar than Polish, Vienna, or Netherland Dwarf.
Practical interest in Hulstlanders centers on keeping the white coat clean and the blue-eyed character consistent. Breeders need to avoid confusing them with blue-eyed white rabbits from other breeds, especially when size and body type differ. Clean bedding, dry housing, and careful transport matter because stains show immediately. For buyers, the safest question is whether the animal comes from Hulstlander stock or is simply a blue-eyed white rabbit being described by appearance.
