The rabbit should not be described only by having floppy ears and fluff; the intended type is a compact small lop with a mane around the head, sometimes a bib, and a shorter body coat outside the mane areas.
Practical expectations depend on whether the rabbit is from a recognized Miniature Lion Lop program or a mixed pet line. The mane needs enough grooming to prevent tangles under the chin and around the shoulders, while the ears need the ordinary lop checks for wax, irritation, or trapped debris.
