Miniature Cashmere Lop
The Miniature Cashmere Lop is the small British-style version of the Cashmere Lop, combining lop ears with a longer, soft coat. It is distinct from a smooth Miniature Lop because the coat carries the cashmere character and needs more maintenance. It is also distinct from angora breeds, which are bred around heavier wool production rather than a lopped companion and exhibition type.
Grooming is the everyday issue that shapes ownership. Young rabbits often need extra attention while the baby coat changes, and adults still require combing around the collar, belly, hindquarters, and ears where mats start first. Breeders should keep coat length practical, because an impressive coat that felts easily can be hard on both rabbit and owner. Buyers should ask to see the rabbit handled and combed, then make sure the line's mature size and grooming load fit their housing and schedule.
