Orange
Orange is a rabbit color description, not a breed by itself. In registry and breeder language it usually refers to a warm orange coat that is cleaner and brighter than cream or fawn but not as dark and dense as many red breed standards require. Orange can occur in several breeds and coat types, so the same word may describe a compact fancy rabbit, a lop, a Rex, or a larger commercial animal.
Practical use of the label depends on the breed behind it. Breeders evaluate orange for even color, clean belly and eye-circle expression where the standard asks for it, correct undercolor, and freedom from smutty shading. Pet buyers should not assume that an orange rabbit shares temperament, adult weight, or grooming needs with another orange rabbit. The breed, coat length, body type, and health history are what determine care.
